I first saw the tease of this palette on Trendmood’s Instagram and it instantly attracted me. I love the packaging and colour story, it just reminds me of summer. The design on the palette would also make a lovely and classy wallpaper pattern. This palette is part of the Limoncello Collection.
THE PACKAGING
The packaging is made out of cardboard, which is wrapped with a white, blue and yellow flowery and lemon design. The palette name and branding is printed in gold and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The circle eyeshadow pans are arranged on a pale yellow, lemon skin textured base with the shade names printed above them at an angle in blue font. There is also a mirror on the underside of the lid. The mirror is inside a yellow cardboard base and it has a corner flower and lemon design on it.

MY THOUGHTS
· Primer/Base - The eyeshadows are pigmented enough without a primer or base, but I would always lay one down. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Too Faced Glitter Glue.
· Pigmentation - The pigmentation is stunning. The shades are so buttery and smooth.
· Application (wet/dry) - The eyeshadows can be applied wet or dry. I always use mattes dry, unless I am applying them to my lower lash line or using them as eyeliner. I sometimes apply metallics/shimmers wet, but it depends on the formula and whether they contain glitters. Wet application can max up the pigmentation and help prevent fallout.
· Blending - They blended like an absolute dream, so effortless and seamless!
· Kick-Back - Obviously, there is always going to be kick-back in your eyeshadow pans as you are disturbing powders. The kick-back was not a concern or issue for me in this particular palette.
· Fallout - I only noticed slight shiny fallout from the metallic shades.
I love the overall design of the packaging and the colour story is gorgeous and summery. The palette has a little weight to it and it doesn’t feel cheap. The ratio of formulas is perfect. The shade La Festa kind of looks out of place, but I think it is a great addition. It does work with the other shades quite well and you could always use it on your lower lash line if you didn’t want a blue focused look. The mattes are very smooth and the metallics are also very smooth and finely milled. The metallic shades are not quite as molten as I would like, but they are very light reflecting so it doesn’t matter so much. My favourite shades are; Easy Peasy, Limone Squeezy and Capri. Easy Peasy is a stunning duo-chrome sort of shade. It looks like an antique bronze shade in the pan, but it has a gorgeous green shift to it. This is one of the few palettes where I actually love every single shade. I had no problems with any of them, but the metallics are my favourites. Amalfi only needed building up slightly to show up full opaqueness on my eyes. It is probably the best yellow eyeshadow I have tried in a very long time! Every look I created with this palette looked fantastic. You can get a soft natural look and then amp it up; it is a very versatile palette considering it is mostly neutrals. I absolutely love this palette, everything about it is stunning! It is the best Colourpop palette I have tried so far and I am so glad I decided to purchase it. This will definitely be a staple spring/summer palette for me. I highly recommend it and you will not regret purchasing it. I believe this palette/collection is limited edition, so I wouldn’t snooze on this launch!
