BEST LEADING ACTOR
Colin Firth will win the Oscar for The King's Speech, BUT James Franco should take it home instead of him! I mean, Firth's performance is completly Oscar-worthy and he has a great career and he delivered completly amazing performances in the past, but Franco was better than him in 127 Hours: it's a one man show and he carries the movie with almost no help... only an amazing performance can make the audience awake and feeling alive. But... well... Firth will win and I'm happy for him, he's a good acting reference.

BEST LEADING ACTRESS
Well... We have a really serious battle here: Swan Girl Vs Lesbian Mum or, if you prefer this way, Natalie Portman Vs Annette Bening. While some experts say that Natalie Portman will win this one, I'm a little bit aprehensive about all this certainties. The Academy can be really surprising sometimes and they may honour Annette Bening for having such a great career and for being overdue for a win and think something like "she's young, she'll have another opportunities in the future to win an Oscar" about Portman. Portman delivered one of the best acting performances I've seen in years in Black Swan, and she deserves the Oscar, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bening will take this one home.
I'm a little bit sad because Nicole Kidman won't win the Oscar for Rabbit Hole... She was even better than in The Hours, but I think she's happy enough for having her career and media love back on track... but still... she's the one!
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
There's a lot of competition in this one: while the main experts predict a win for Melissa Leo for The Fighter (she was great in that one and she deserves the honour), I have the feeling that True Grit's young actress Hailee Steinfeld will win the Oscar that Jacki Weaver deserves for playing a monster-mum in Animal Kingdom. Melissa Leo won some of the major awards, but Steinfeld also took home a big couple of some serious awards, but she was snubed by the Golden Globes, while Leo was snubed by the BAFTA Awards. Jacki Weaver delivered the best performance, but she didn't get all the awards' attention she needs to be the winner and being nominated is already a victory! It's all between Leo and Steinfeld...
P.S.: Christian Bale will win for The Fighter and nobody can do anything to deny he deserves it!
